First things first, I'm Melissa and I'm 21 years old. I live in a small town in Germany right next to Luxembourg and France. I'm currently studying English and History at university.
While being interested in history as a whole, my main interests are the elizabethan era, the golden era of piracy, the exploration of the new world (therefore the aztecs and their culture), the ancien regime & the french revolution, victorian era (and architecture), industrialization and royalty, aristocracy and nobility in England, Germany, France and Austria. Are you bored with me yet? No? Good.
I'm also taking classes in japanese and plan to study there in a year or two. Everything about Japan makes me happy. I'm also interested in japanese history, culture and fashion. And of course anime. YES.
If you're asking me about my favorite music or my favorite movie I wouldn't know what to answer since I'm not a highly 'medialized' person, I haven't seen a lot of movies in my life and most of the movies considered good or famous just bore me out of my wits. I just can't relate to a character in about 90 minutes, I need a much longer time for that. But, I do like old movies, they just have this special charm about them. Therefore I like series much better. My taste in musics stretches from classical music (Strauß Jr) to operettes (Verdi) to swing, big band and jazz to classic rock of the 60s , 70s and somehwere there it just stops. I love soundtracks of all sorts and something japanese here and there. I don't have a clue about todays music, gomen. My stomach feels very sick when I think about todays music.
Uhm, yeah. I don't know what elese there is to say about me. Oh yeah, I love castles, gardens and everything pink and cute. That is all.
